The School

Our Story

The Balletto di Verona is a classical dance school founded in October 2010, with the aim of training professional dancers using the renowned Vaganova Method. The school was created by the Masters and Artistic Directors Eriberto Verardi and Anna Guetsman, and stands out as the only one in Verona to offer professional courses of this type.

The students of the Balletto di Verona come from all over Italy and abroad, thanks to the reputation of the school and the quality of the teaching. The professional courses are divided into eight academic years and include a variety of disciplines such as classical dance, character dance, pas de deux,, men's technique and contemporary dance. These courses are supported by stage experiences, which prepare students for professional careers.

The school also offers preparatory courses for children aged 4 and up, advanced courses for students aged 18 to 20 from other schools, and amateur courses for dance enthusiasts who do not aspire to become professionals. Furthermore, the Balletto di Verona organizes a summer course open to both internal and external students, which is held every July.

Over the years, several students of the school have won prizes in national and international competitions and have been admitted to prestigious ballet academies around the world, as well as having signed contracts with notable European dance companies.
